Yoga has taught me how to listen:

To sensation.

To breath.

To the subtle information of the body that speaks truthfully in a way that the mind cannot.

At the centre of my practice is a living question:

what is the truth in this moment?

Sometimes, the answer is trite, rehearsed, false.

But often, the answer is an unveiling.

The answer is authentic.

Not something shaped by expectation or the ego,

but the one that can be felt / heard / seen through an honest and heartfelt practice.

I teach yoga as a way of coming into intimacy with life as it is.

Not the santised version of life or yoga sold to us on social media, packaged through a capitalist & patriarchal lens, but THIS: diving into the divine, messy, joy filled, complicated and sometimes painful dance of being human.

Not rising above the body…but inhabiting it more fully.

Letting the body be a site of wisdom, devotion and pleasure….even when things feel tender, hard or unclear.

Each practice with me will invite you into slowness, honesty and presence.

A chance to meet yourself in the light and the shade.

A chance to stay with the truth rather than what is comfortable.

I’ve been teaching for over a decade. I hold spaces that are warm, grounded and spacious.

My approach is embodied and devotional, rooted in the understanding that being human is a sacred, messy, joyful experience.

You don’t need to perform, achieve or arrive in any particular way with me.

Nothing needs to be forced.

Nothing needs to be excluded.

There is room here for effort and rest, structure and flow, strength and softness.

There is room here to feel it all.

To understand that sensation, emotion, fatigue, pleasure, grief and delight are not obstacles to practice, but doorways into the deepest practice you’ll ever know.

The deepest relationship to yourself you’ll ever know.

This work is an ongoing listening.

A tuning in.

A willingness to be with what is.

A willingness to boldly stand tall, knowing that there will always reside inside of you something infallible, even when life feels frayed.

Return to this truth with me:

you are not lacking or late.

you belong exactly as you are.

If this speaks to you, I’d love to practice together.

Welcome, yogi.

Welcome home.
